Glenwood Canyon Bike Path Opens For Season

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Transportation officials have opened the Glenwood Canyon bike path for the season.

The Colorado Department of Transportation closes the popular trail each winter because maintenance along nearby Interstate 70 can cause unsafe conditions.

Officials say they could close the path near Glenwood Springs again if late season snow moves through the area or if spring runoff poses a danger.
