Police Search For Rifle Stolen During Party That Poses 'Public Safety Threat'

GLENDALE, Colo. (CBS4) - Police need help finding a rifle that was stolen during a party at a home in Glendale two weeks ago.

The gun is a Knight's Armament Rifle with Serial No. KM909090 that has an optical sight on it. Police said 200 rounds of ammunition also were taken.

Police say the party was attended mostly by Denver East High School students.

"(The) rifle along with optical sight and ammunition pose a public safety threat," police said in a statement.
