Get To Know The Course Before Race Day
DENVER (CBS4) The Rock 'n' Roll Denver Marathon & 1/2 offers a new course this year, which offers runners some different challenges.
"You need to think ahead about what the course profile looks like. You need to break it up into segments, and you need to look at the elevation profile because it's front loaded with some hills," said two-time Olympic long-distance runner Alan Culpepper.
Familiarizing yourself with the course could eliminate some race day anxiety.
The Rock 'n' Roll Denver Marathon & 1/2 is Sunday, October 19th at 7:15 a.m. at Civic Center Park.
