Westbound Colfax Avenue shut down in Aurora due to gas line rupture

The westbound lanes of Colfax Avenue were closed on Friday afternoon in Aurora due to a rupture of a gas line. The Aurora Police Department said the closure is near Sable Boulevard.

So far it's not clear how the rupture happened.

At 3:10 p.m. group of workers could be seen at the scene trying to fix the gas line.
