Funnel Cloud Spotted In Northern Colorado, But It Doesn't Touch Down

JOHNSTOWN, Colo. (CBS4) - A few big thunderstorms rumbled across Colorado's Front Range and Eastern Plains on Sunday afternoon, and one big one produced a funnel cloud.

That storm tracked across Berthoud into Johnstown south of Greeley and produced a weak, short lived funnel over the Carter Lake area. This was visible from both Longmont and Loveland at approximately 2:30 p.m.

This storm also, dropped heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds 30 to 40 mph as it tracked from Boulder County into southern Weld County.
