Group Is On A Mission To Plant More Apple, Cherry, Peach Trees

DENVER (CBS4)- The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation is visiting Denver with a mission: to encourage more people to plant apple and other fruit trees. The trees aren't just good for the environment, they can help feed people.

The foundation, in partnership with Vitafusion Gummy Vitamins, planted trees at the Denver Green Community School Farm and Gardens in Lakewood and Arvada on Monday.

They planted trees that grow apples, apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines, pears, plums and more.
