Frontier & United Make 'Worst Airlines' List

DENVER (CBS4) – Two airlines that make Denver International Airport their home have made the shortlist for the worst airlines, according to the website Lifehackers.com, which polls readers on such general interest matters.

Both Frontier and United have hubs at DIA and made the list.

About Frontier Airlines, Lifehackers.com said, "You shared horror stories where asking questions of the staff result in scowling faces and sarcastic replies, flight attendants straight up lying to passengers, and the fact that they have an email-only customer service center."

About United, Lifehackers.com readers said, "Shipping a person to one place and his pet half a world away, delays for mechanical issues, lost luggage, screwed up 'confirmed' reservations, and more."

According to Lifehackers.com, Spirit Airlines is the most complained about airline in the U.S and comes in last in Consumer Reports' ranking of the worst airlines.

Other airlines listed were Ryanair and Delta.
