Frontier 1 Of 3 Airlines Fined For Bumping Passengers

DENVER (CBS4) - Frontier Airlines is one of three being fined by the Federal government.

The Department of Transportation has fined Frontier $400,000 for bumping passengers from overbooked flights without first asking for volunteers or giving proper compensation.

The violations happened in 2016.

Delta and American Airlines were also fined, but not as much as Frontier.

All three airlines say they've updated their policies.
