Front Range Air Quality Being Affected By Wildfires

DENVER (CBS4) - The smoke from wildfires is impacting air quality along the Front Range.

Copter 4 captured video of the haze sitting over the Front Range Wednesday morning.

The health department says the air quality is moderate but it is especially unhealthy for sensitive people.

Smoke particles can aggravate lungs.

"If you have either asthma or COPD now is not the time to exercise outside, and certainly not in the middle of the day," Dr. Karin Pacheco with National Jewish Health said.
