Frisco Comes In At No. 2 In Coolest Town Rankings
FRISCO, Colo. (CBS4) - It's a quaint and quintessential Colorado mountain town, and according to at least one Internet list Frisco, Colorado, is the second coolest town in America.
The website matadornetwork.com ranked 20 towns across the U.S.
"Where else can you go skiing, sailing and mountain biking in the same day?" the site asks.
While not directly attached to a ski resort, Frisco gets credit for being minutes away from Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Vail.
"Visitors, second homeowners and locals peacefully coexist in this impossibly quaint alpine playground complete with a pedestrian-friendly main street," the site says.
Frisco gets credit for good local restaurants, outdoor recreation, and lively bars.
