NTSB Investigates Helicopter's 'Hard Landing'

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Federal investigators are looking at a hard landing of a helicopter tour company that happened over the weekend.

A helicopter from the Royal Gorge Heli-Tours went down in Fremont County on Saturday.

The company says their pilot tried to land in a field but came down at an extreme angle.

That caused the rotor to slice off the back end of the helicopter.

The company said there was a tour group on board at the time and that no one was hurt.

The NTSB is investigating.
