Franktown Elementary Closes Early From Lightning Strike Damage

FRANKTOWN, Colo. (CBS4)- Students at Franktown Elementary School were released early on Wednesday after it was damaged by a lightning strike.

The Douglas County School District said that lightning from Tuesday's storms damaged some electrical boxes.

Students were released at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

It has not been announced whether classes will resume tomorrow.
