Foul Play Suspected In Disappearance Of Greeley Man

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - Greeley police say they believe foul play was involved in the disappearance of a man who has been missing since Nov. 30.

Sgt. Joe Tymkowych says officers checking on the wellbeing of 62-year-old Jose Dejesus Luna on Dec. 8 found suspicious evidence and circumstances and began a more extensive search. Luna's car also was unaccounted for.

Investigators have not said why they think foul play was involved.

Luna was reported missing when he did not report to work. His car has since been recovered.

Tymkowych tells The Denver Post that Luna is not the kind of person that normally takes off and doesn't show up to work, adding, "He is a fairly solid person, then all of the sudden, the family can't find him."
