Fort Collins Woman Accused In Fatal Hit & Run Advised Of Charges

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman accused in a deadly hit-and-run involving a bicyclist appeared in Larimer County Court Friday morning.

Police say Theresa Marie O'Connor, 28, of Fort Collins turned herself in on Thursday in connection with the hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist.

Ernesto Jorge Wiedenbrug was hit while riding his bike last month on the Interstate 25 Frontage Road near Windsor.

A judge advised O'Connor of the charges, including leaving the scene of a deadly accident and careless driving causing death.
