Fort Collins Police: Grandfather Shot Grandson, Self

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Fort Collins are uncovering more evidence in a murder-suicide that left two people dead.

Investigators said Gene Kapperman, 73, killed himself after shooting his grandson, Brandon Kapperman, 26, twice. Brandon did not survive.

The shootings happened Thursday afternoon inside a home on Thompson Drive between Trilby Road and Shields Street.

Police have not released a motive in the shooting.
