Fort Collins Police Arrest Massage Therapist, Search For Other Victims
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police arrested a massage therapist after one of his clients called police.
Police arrested Marcos Duran on Monday for unlawful sexual contact and sexual assault.
Police said Duran, a massage therapist employed my Miramont Lifestyle Fitness, was performing a massage for the female victim on the evening of April 11. The victim told police while Duran was massaging her leg, he began to touch her genitals.
The victim told Duran to stop immediately and he complied. She got dressed and left. The victim reported the incident to Fort Collins Police and had a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) exam completed.
Police said professional massage and other medical examinations should never involve genital contact for purposes other than treatment consistent with reasonable medical practices.
