Fort Collins Man Charged In Hit & Run That Seriously Injured Teen

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A man in Fort Collins has been charged in a hit and run that seriously injured a teenager.

Reginald Loewen is facing a felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident involving serious injuries. He's also charged with careless driving.

The crash occurred on the morning of March 10, when Fort Collins Police say Loewen may have fallen asleep behind the wheel and hit a pedestrian.

Loewen turned himself in later that day. The 16-year-old high school student that was hit continues to recover from serious injuries.
