Fort Carson Troops Return Home For Emotional Welcome

FORT CARSON, Colo. (CBS4) - It was an emotional homecoming for nearly 100 Fort Carson soldiers at the army post late Monday night.

The group arrived at Fort Carson near Colorado Springs where their loved ones were waiting for them.

"It's indescribable. Our grandson is just wonderful, he's doing a great job and we're so proud of him. Thankfully he's coming home," said one woman.

The soldiers deployed to Kuwait and Qatar in August 2016.
