Fort Carson To Welcome Home About 250 Soldiers

FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) — Fort Carson is set to welcome home about 250 soldiers who have spent the past nine months serving in Kuwait.

The soldiers with the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division were deployed in September for security cooperation, joint exercises and training. They partnered with members of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces to strengthen ties between the United States and Kuwait and to enhance security in the region.

Their homecoming ceremony will be held at the Special Events Center on post at 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
