Fort Carson Soldiers Return For Emotional Welcome Home
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Hundreds of Fort Carson soldiers returned home to families and friends on Saturday night.
About 170 Fort Carson soldiers were welcomed home at the Army post near Colorado Springs. They've been working in Afghanistan helping clear more than 13,000 miles of supply routes.
They transferred responsibility of many of those routes to the Afghan national army.
