Fort Carson Soldier Killed In Overseas Combat

FORT CARSON, Colo. (CBS4) - A soldier from Fort Carson was killed during a combat mission in Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense says Sgt. 1st Class Stephen Cribben was stationed at Fort Carson. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group.

Cribben, 33, was originally from Simi Valley, California.

He died Nov. 4 in Logar Province.

Details about the incident are under investigation.
