Former Cab Driver Guilty In Sexual Assault Case

DENVER (CSB4) - A Denver taxi driver accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a passenger has been found guilty.

Hidet Molla was convicted of two counts of second-degree kidnapping and two counts of sexual assault.

Molla picked up an intoxicated female passenger at the downtown bar the Ginn Mill in the early morning hours of December 24, 2015 after she had been drinking.

She told police Molla brought her to an unknown home in Green Valley Ranch where he assaulted her. He then took her to her home in his cab.

Police used HALO camera video to track down Molla. He faces an indeterminate to life sentence when he is sentenced on June 30.
