Flood Victims Warned About Demolition Scam

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- As Colorado residents continue to recover from last fall's devastating flooding scammers are taking advantage of the situation.

Several people in Larimer County have been approached by demolition services.

Those demo crews tell homeowners their flood-damaged properties are on a list to be torn down and they need to get the demolition fee in advance.

County officials told CBS4 there is no such list.
