Flood-Repair Work East Of Greeley Will Close US 34 To One Lane

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - Road crews will close a two-mile stretch of US 34 east of Greeley down to one lane on Thursday and Friday to continue repairs to the highway after last year's massive flooding.

The lane reduction is necessary, the Colorado Department of Transportation said, to prepare, pave and stripe a temporary road around a hole caused by September 2013's flooding.

Traffic will flow in one lane each direction during the evening and all day after Friday.
