Float To Work In Your Suit On 'Tube To Work Day'

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Some people in Boulder ditched their cars Tuesday morning and choose another form of transportation for the morning commute-- the water.

Tuesday is Tube To Work Day and at 8 a.m. tubers made their way down Boulder Creek in their business attire.

It started in 2008 with two friends tubing to work but has grown every year.

Tubing started at Eben G. Fine Park in Boulder near 3rd Street and Canyon Boulevard.

Participants were encouraged to bring their own tube and wear a helmet along with a wet suit under their business casual of choice.

There was a free breakfast and coffee for tubers on the shore of Boulder Creek near Broadway Boulevard.
