Flight For Life Nurse Returns To Work After Crash That Killed Pilot

FRISCO, Colo. (CBS4)- Flight For Life nurse Matt Bowe returned to work on Tuesday a little more than four months after a helicopter crash that killed the pilot and left the other nurse on board critically injured.

Bowe was welcomed back to work on Tuesday by the crew at Flight For Life Colorado. Bowe was injured in the July 3 crash in Frisco that killed pilot Patrick Mahany.

Bowe was treated at St. Anthony and Craig Hospitals.

Repsher suffered burns over most of his body and was treated at University of Colorado Hospital's burn unit.

On Tuesday, Bowe was greeted with a bright orange sign that read "Welcome Back Matt!" with the Flight For Life Colorado logo.

Flight For Life Colorado posted on their Facebook page "While we celebrate Matt's return, we continue to hold new to our hearts Flight Nurse Dave Repsher, his wife Amanda, and Karen Mahaney, wife of pilot Patrick Mahany.

The NTSB and FAA are investigating the cause of the crash.
