One firefighter was also taken to the hospital for dehydration.

There is heavy smoke damage throughout the home. Firefighters said most of the damage seems to be concentrated in the back bedroom.

"The fire did spread, there is heavy smoke damage and the building is not able to be lived in," said Denver Fire Department spokesman Mark Watson. "There is a back bedroom where most of the fire appears to be."

Firefighters had to wear oxygen masks and other protective gear because of asbestos inside the home.

What caused that fire is still being investigated.

Everyone rushed to the hospital is expected to recover.
