Fish Kill Described As Significant Following Gas Spill Into Creek In Lyons

LYONS, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado wildlife officials say there was a significant fish kill in northern Boulder County after a tanker truck flipped over and spilled gas into the North St. Vrain Creek in Lyons.

Good Samaritans tried to rescue fish after the crash, which happened on Tuesday.

It happened on Highway 36 near the intersection with Apple Valley Road.
