Firefighters Have New Tools To Help With Fire Season
BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Brighton Fire Rescue now has two new brush trucks to help them cover wildland fires across the region.
The trucks feature oversized tires to help navigate safely through soft fields, a 300 gallon water tank and a 12 gallon foam tank.
New Brush TrucksBrighton Fire has two new brush trucks in service at Stations 54 & 55. They are designed to meet the growing needs of the District. Special features include oversized tires to allow safer operations in soft fields, a 300 gallon water tank, 12 gallon foam tank and a high pressure pump. The trucks also have seating and equipment for five firefighters and they carry equipment specific to wildland firefighting.
