Witnesses said they saw Timothy Plybon exposing himself to minors in the Town Center at Aurora on June 6. The incident happened at the candy shop From Mexico Con Amor.

The witnesses told police Plybon entered the store with his zipper down and exposed himself and touched himself near underage girls.

Police at a mall substation were alerted and stopped Plybon in the parking lot when he tried to leave. A security guard helped by blocking the 34 year-old firefighter's car.

A CBS4 crew went to Plybon's Aurora home Wednesday to ask him about the incident. No one answered the door.

Plybon has been charged with a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure. He had a clean record up until the incident.

The Denver Fire Department placed Plybon on administrative leave the day after the incident.
