Fire Near Gateway High School Quickly Extinguished
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Firefighters rushed to put out a fire near Gateway High School on Tuesday.
The fire burned in a grove of trees along the baseball fields south of the school. Only four trees were damaged.
Aurora Fire tweeted out the picture and the response.

The fire was quickly extinguished.
Roads near the school, Carolina Drive and Sable, were closed while fire crews battled the blaze.
What caused the fire is unknown and being investigated.
"It's very dry. There has to be a lot of factors that go into how quickly wildland fires spread. You have to have an ignition source, the right humidity, the right temperature, and wind are very bad when it comes to contributing to the quick spread of a wildland fire," said Aurora Fire spokeswoman Diane Schroeder.
Schroeder said until Colorado receives significant moisture like a good rain or snow, fire danger will remain a concern.
