Fire Destroys Home In Elizabeth

ELIZABETH, Colo. (CBS4)- Fire destroyed a home in Elizabeth on Monday evening.

Firefighters in Douglas County say the fire started in some brush and then spread to the home.

The homeowner and his dog made it out safely but he and his wife will have to find a new place to live. The home was too badly damaged to repair.
