Fire Breaks Out At Restaurant On South Broadway

DENVER (CBS4) - Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire on at a restaurant in Denver Friday morning.

The fire appeared to be confined to the roof of a building on South Broadway containing a Pasquini's Pizzeria restaurant and Bowman's Vinyl & Lounge. That's at the East Louisiana Avenue intersection.

The fire started at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Friday and firefighters climbed up onto the roof to put it out.

So far it's not clear how much damage the fire caused.

The owners believed they would be able to reopen this weekend.
