Fire At Aurora Condo Complex Displaces 3 People

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Three people were displaced from their homes overnight after the condo complex they live in caught fire.

Firefighters got the flames under control in six minutes after arriving at the scene, and authorities said they heard reports that neighbors helped to put out the fire before their arrival.

"We've heard several reports of that -- of heroic acts by the citizens," said Aurora Fire Department spokeswoman Cindy Anderson said.

Two units were damaged in the building, which is located at 170 South Sable Boulevard.

The call came in just after 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

One person was in the unit where the fire started, they got out safely and no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
