Film Documents Lindsey Vonn's Return From 2 Knee Surgeries

(AP) - Lindsey Vonn's comeback from two knee surgeries will be the subject of an upcoming documentary featuring footage from the operating room along with rehab sessions in her hometown of Vail, Colorado.

The one-hour film is called "Lindsey Vonn: The Climb" and will be shown Jan. 25 on NBC. It's produced by Red Bull Media House, in association with NFL Films and NBC Olympics.

The four-time overall World Cup champion tore the ACL in her right knee during a super-G crash on Feb. 5, 2013, at the world championships in Austria. She re-tore the ligament nine months later while trying to return in time for the Sochi Olympics.

Vonn said she hopes the film "inspires others who are going through challenges to keep getting back up when they are down."
