Fidelity Investments To Bring Hundreds Of New Jobs To Colorado

DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) - Fidelity Investments will be expanding in Colorado.

The company on Monday said it will bring another 400 jobs to Arapahoe County in the next three to four years.

Gov. John Hickenlooper says this latest move proves Colorado is becoming the Wall Street of the West.

"I think Colorado's highly-educated, financially-savvy workforce was a significant factor in their decision to choose Colorado as they continue to see our state as a place where their business can thrive," Hickenlooper said.

Fidelity hired 500 people when it opened a service center in Greenwood Village a few years ago.

"Adding Fidelity really promotes the strength of those key industries already in place," Hickenlooper said. "Colorado continues to attract and retain world-class businesses."
