Firefighters Cut Off Car's Roof To Get To Crash Victim
DENVER (CBS4) - A serious crash in Denver sent two drivers to the hospital on Wednesday.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. on Federal Boulevard near Custer Place, according to Denver police.
Witnesses told CBS4 a man driving a gold pickup truck was headed northbound on Federal and weaving in and out of traffic when he struck a woman driving a brown Kia sedan.
Witnesses say the man was thrown from his truck.
People who work in nearby businesses say firefighters had to cut the sedan's roof from the vehicle to free the female driver of the Kia.

Both drivers were seriously injured.
The pickup's cab cover flew off the vehicle and into a third vehicle, a red Ford Escape SUV. The occupants of that vehicle were not hurt, officers said.
The crash closed two blocks of Federal Boulevard for at least two hours as crews investigated and cleaned up the crash. The pickup involved appeared to be a handyman's work truck. Buckets and tools were strewn across the road.
Police say one witness told them he thought one of the vehicles involved in the crash may have been racing another vehicle, but officers so far have not confirmed that.
Witnesses told CBS4 they saw the pickup driver speeding and cutting off other drivers before crashing into the sedan, but they did not see evidence of street racing.
The conditions of both drivers haven't been released.
