FBI, Thornton Police Search For Bank Robber

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Officials with the FBI and Thornton police say they are looking for a bank robber.

They say a man robbed a Key Bank at 3505 East 104th Avenue in Thornton on Tuesday afternoon.

The crime happened at approximately 4:22 p.m. Police said the man showed a "demand note" to a bank employee after walking in and then fled.

Police didn't say how much money the suspect might have gotten away with. It's also not clear if he had a weapon.

The man's face was captured in surveillance images police released on Thursday. He is described as being white or Hispanic and probably in is 30s with a goatee. He was described as being between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6 and weighing 165 pounds.
