Favorite Donut Shop Of Fallen Trooper's Family Holds Fundraiser
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A donut shop in Englewood raised money for the family of a fallen state trooper on Saturday.
All of Saturday's sales at Lora's Donuts and Bakery went to the Donahue family.
Trooper Cody Donahue was struck and killed while responding to a crash on Interstate 25. The donut shop owner told CBS4 Donahue and his daughters were regulars at their bakery.

"Cody's sister-in-law came in Saturday morning -- the day after -- and said they had asked the daughters, 'What do you want for breakfast? You can have anything you want the next day,'" said Jim Samaras, Lora's Donuts and Bakery owner. "The two little girls said they wanted Lora's donuts."
The Colorado State Patrol sent a tweet thanking Lora's for the event, saying, "What a beautiful community."
