Study: Fast Food Chains Benefiting From Pot Users

DENVER (CBS4) - Fast food chains in Colorado are benefiting from the legalization of marijuana.

A new study from the "Green Market Report" shows an increase in fast food sales in states where marijuana is legal.

The report surveyed 27,000 people. It found 43% of legal pot users went to McDonald's in the past month.

The report also found 18% stopped at Taco Bell, while 17% visited Wendy's.

The numbers were significantly higher among pot users than those who had not visited a dispensary.
