Family Finds Unique Way To Include Deployed Dad In Christmas Card

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A military family in Colorado Springs found a creative way to include their husband and father in their Christmas card.

Air Force Staff Sgt. Brandon Sistrunk will spend the holidays serving the U.S. in Iraq. But his wife Ashley Sistrunk found a way to get the entire family together in their Christmas pictures.

Ashley Sistrunk is posed with their four children in Colorado and her husband completed the picture from Iraq. Ashley Sistrunk hopes their Christmas card will give comfort to other military families.

"I always have wanted to reach out to other military spouses going through that. Just because you can feel mentally alone and emotionally alone," Ashley Sistrunk said. "But hopefully them seeing what that we're getting through it, they can get through it too."
