Family Escapes Burning Home In Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- A family escaped a burning home in Aurora early Thursday morning.
Firefighters rushed to put out the fire at a home on Idalia Street near Chambers and Yale.
Smoke detectors woke up the family of three. They tried to put out the basement fire themselves but had to call 911 for help.
All escaped unharmed.
Investigators say the fire was electric in nature and there is nothing suspicious about the blaze.
The family will stay with relatives until they can return home.
