Explosion, Gas Line Investigated In Canon City
CANON CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- The investigation continues into an early morning explosion in Canon City after a home was destroyed.
A man inside the home was thrown out during the explosion which also sent flames 20 feet into the air. Investigators believe a gas line exploded.
People living in the three blocks surrounding the home were evacuated as a precaution.
Crews are trying to find the exact location of the explosion. The man was rushed to Denver for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been released.
