Evergreen High Grad 1 Of 2 Americans Who Contracted Ebola Virus

DENVER (CBS4) - A graduate of Evergreen High School is one of two Americans who have contracted the Ebola virus.

Nancy Writebol was treating Ebola patients in Africa when she got infected. She was working with Dr. Kenty Brantly, who also fell ill.

Both Writebol and Brantly are in stable condition, but Ebola has a 90 percent fatality rate.

The two were working to help patients in the worst Ebola outbreak ever recorded.

Writbol and her family live in North Carolina.
