Event At Jessica Ridgeway Park Honors Missing Children In Colorado

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - There was a special gathering at the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park in Westminster Sunday that honored missing children in Colorado.

Balloons were released to remember children who disappear every year.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation wants to remind parents to talk to their children about personal safety issues.

Ridgeway was abducted and killed while walking to school in October 2012.
