Wildfire Nearly Contained, Evacuees Allowed To Return Home

CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The American Red Cross  responded to Chaffee County where a wildfire burned along County Road 339, southwest of Buena Vista.

Officials say the fire is nearly contained and homeowners can return to their homes.

The Red Cross set up an evacuation center at the Buena Vista Community Center.

Residents say wind speeds were strong in the area.
