Enhanced Colorado Cold Case Website Launched

DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado Bureau of Investigations announced on Thursday the launch of an improved database to catalog cold-case murders in the state.

The site's improvements include an update photo carousel on the home page, expanded narratives and an improved search function.

"One of our primary goals in improving the website is to offer visitors robust information to potentially trigger memories or additional information to aid detectives in cold-case investigations across Colorado," Audrey Simkins, a cold case analyst with the CBI, said.

The website was first created in 2010.

There are 1,577 cold cases in Colorado.
