Englewood Votes To Dismantle Fire Department

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- The City of Englewood has voted to scrap the fire department and let Denver Fire take over.

Englewood could no longer afford to maintain its own fire department. Now the city will pay Denver to provide coverage.

Denver also handles fire coverage for cities like Glendale and Sheridan.
