NREL & Consumer Energy Alliance Highlight Importance Of Wind Energy

DENVER (CBS4) - Energy Day, organized by the Consumer Energy Alliance, is coming up on Saturday, Aug. 22nd. It's a free family festival focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities.

On CBS4 This Morning, Marcus Giron with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Emily Haggestrom with the Consumer Energy Alliance spoke about the event and gave a wind energy demonstration.

The pair also explained how the research at NREL helps the wind energy industry.
