Employee At Safeway Denver Distribution Center Dies From Coronavirus

(CBS4) - An employee at the Safeway distribution center in Denver has died from coronavirus. The worker was among six people who were employed there who tested positive for COVID-19.

Officials at Safeway said the employee had not worked at the site since April 17 and that the facility has been thoroughly cleaned multiple times.

The facility remains open and workers are required to wear a mask at all times.

So far the identity of the employee has not been made public.
